TRAFFIC ADVISORY – WEST 6TH STREET
The City of Pahokee would like to inform residents that a fallen tree resulting from Tuesday's storm has blocked a portion of West 6th Street, creating an obstruction and impacting traffic in the area.
The City's Public Works Department, in coordination with its contractor, Big Dog Express, has been working diligently to safely remove the tree and restore normal roadway access. The remaining work is expected to be completed by Saturday, June 6, 2026.
Motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling in the area and to follow any traffic control measures that may be in place while work is underway.
The City appreciates the patience and understanding of residents as crews continue their efforts to ensure the safety of our roadways and community. We apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused and thank you for your cooperation.
