The City of Pahokee would like to inform residents that City Hall will be closed on Thursday, June 18, 2026, due to the scheduled tenting of the building for termite treatment. The tenting process will require the building to be inaccessible to both the public and staff. As a result, residents are encouraged to conduct any necessary business with City Hall no later than 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

For the safety of the public, residents and visitors are advised not to enter or approach the City Hall property during the termite treatment and tenting process. Access to the property will be restricted until the treatment has been completed and the site has been cleared for reentry.

City staff may have limited availability on June 18, 2026, due to mandatory training and operational adjustments associated with the building closure.

As a reminder, City Hall will remain closed on Friday, June 19, 2026, in observance of Juneteenth. Barring any unforeseen circumstances related to the termite treatment, normal operations are expected to resume on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 8:00 a.m.
