Palm Beach County's Emergency Repair Program

Home Repair Program Palm Beach County

The State has reviewed Palm Beach County's proposed plan for the Emergency Repair Program and attached is the revised Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF) Emergency Repair Program Description.  Please note that based on the States review the following changes were made:

Hurricane Shutters are not permitted, however, windows are eligible in certain situations.  We have removed shutters and added windows and doors as eligible Emergency Repair Program items.

All homeowners must provide documentation that they are current on their property taxes and homeowners insurance, in order to receive assistance from this program.

The State continues to remind us that in order to be eligible for this program, homeowners must document their loss of income related to COVID (beginning March 1, 2020).  Because the eligibility is based on a loss of income, this means that residents who live on a fixed income would not be eligible, if they cannot show a financial impact to their household income.
