Our activities are aimed at enhancing the educational and athleticism of each student, while instilling respect, self-esteem, team work and discipline. We encourage our students to make responsible choices and we help equip them with the skills to succeed in life. |

| PROGRAM HISTORY: | |
The City of Pahokee constitutes a small population of people, consisting mainly of farm workers; with very limited resources, Due to the lack of affordable year round activities for our area youth and elderly, the City of Pahokee Parks & Recreation Department began serving the residents of the Pahokee Community in August of 1989. The program initially began with funding from Children's Service Council of Palm Beach County. Funding sources increased through grants from The Department of Juvenile Justice and the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners. The increase in program funding and the support of Pahokee City Officials enabled is to move out of the school setting and into our very our Recreational Complex. |
