The City of Pahokee is seeking Proposals for re-use of property located on East Main Street: The Old Prince Theatre PCN: 48-37-42-18-18-000-0164 Ridgeway Beach Sely 140 ft of th pt of SWLY 57 ft of LT A-16 LYG NW of SR 143 in DB605P318 & UND ½ int in 8 ft by 140 ft alley adj. there to in DB607P89. The CORE District is intended to be a clearly identifiable “Downtown” or “Central Business District” for Pahokee. The area is to serve as a focal point for a variety of local and regional activities including retail sales, personal and business services, public and private offices, and entertainment and residential opportunities. The district is intended to have a street-level focus and create an environment conducive to pedestrian activities.

| City Surplus Auction |
The following vehicles and equipment are available for sale by the City of Pahokee by sealed bid. Vehicles may be viewed at the City of Pahokee Motor Pool area, 1501 McClure Rd., Pahokee, Fl., beginning Tuesday, January 19, 2010 through Thursday, January 28, 2010 from 8 am to 4 pm, excluding weekends. Sealed bids are due by 12:00 noon on Friday, January 29, 2010 and will be opened on Friday, January 29, 2010 at 1:00 pm in the Commission Chambers located at 360 E. Main St., Pahokee, FL. 33476. Buyers do not need to be present. Winning bidders must make full payment by Tuesday, February 2, 2010 by 1:00 pm or the vehicle or equipment will be awarded to the next highest bidder. All vehicles and equipment are sold “as is” and must be removed from city property by Friday, February 5, 2010. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
